Married Limpopo Woman Speaks Out After Viral Casting Video Leaves Husband Heartbroken
A married South African woman has found herself at the center of a social media storm after footage from a controversial casting interview spread rapidly online, prompting emotional reactions from her family and thousands of viewers across the country.
The woman, identified as Sthembiso Maluleke, appeared in a video recorded during a casting session that has since gone viral on various social media platforms. Following the video’s circulation, Celebrity Breeze caught up with her husband, who admitted he is struggling to come to terms with what he saw.
“I never imagined that one day I would see my wife in something like this,” he said during an emotional interview. “I’m heartbroken. I loved her, trusted her, and believed we were building a future together. Watching that video broke something inside me.”
According to the husband, who is from Limpopo, the couple had been trying to overcome financial challenges while keeping their marriage together.
“We’ve had problems like every family does, but I never expected this,” he said. “I wish she had spoken to me first. Maybe we could have found another solution together.”
The now-viral footage begins as what appears to be a routine casting interview.
“Thank you for coming to the casting,” the interviewer says while explaining that the recording would be shared with producers to determine whether she would be suitable for future modelling opportunities.
The conversation starts with light-hearted questions about celebrities, dreams and personal ambitions.
Asked who she would like to have dinner with if given the chance, Sthembiso smiles before replying, “Phil Foden.”
When asked why, she responds that the Manchester City footballer is “really handsome.”
The interview then shifts to questions about her upbringing, modelling ambitions and future dreams.
“If you could wake up tomorrow with any power, what would it be?” the interviewer asks.
Without hesitation, she replies, “Read minds.”
She also speaks about wanting to become a flight attendant one day, saying it has been one of her long-time dreams.
As the interview progresses, she is asked to change into different clothing as part of what is described as a modelling assessment before being guided through posing exercises.

For Sthembiso’s husband, however, the online debate is secondary to the pain he says he now carries.
“People are making jokes and sharing memes,” he said. “But for me, this is my marriage. This is my family. It’s not entertainment.”
He says he is still trying to process everything that has happened and has not yet decided what the future holds for their relationship.
“I need time,” he said quietly. “I’m hurt, and I need to think about what’s best for me and for our family.”
As the video continues to trend across social media, it has reignited conversations about unemployment, financial hardship and the lengths some people may go to while searching for opportunities they hope will improve their lives.
For now, the family’s future remains uncertain as they attempt to navigate the intense public attention surrounding the viral footage.
