Beyond the alleged physical assaults, she describes what experts commonly refer to as coercive control—a pattern of behaviour intended to dominate and isolate a partner rather than relying solely on physical violence.

She alleges she was assaulted before another individual locked the apartment door, confiscated her phone, and prevented her from leaving until she agreed to forgive him.
She further alleges there were occasions when she was physically attacked inside her own apartment after arguments escalated. In one particularly disturbing claim, she says she was dragged by her hair, struck repeatedly, and had her head slammed against the ground before security personnel eventually intervened and escorted him out of the building.
The woman also shared screenshots of text messages that she claims were sent during the relationship. The messages appear to contain threatening language, controlling behaviour, and attempts to monitor her whereabouts. While the authenticity of the screenshots has not been independently verified, she says they reflect the level of intimidation she endured.
Perhaps the most heartbreaking part of her statement relates to the psychological impact she says the relationship had on her mental health.
She alleges that she was repeatedly insulted, verbally degraded, and reminded of deeply personal traumas. According to her account, she was driven to attempt taking her own life on multiple occasions and claims that instead of receiving support, she was threatened and manipulated further.
She says fear kept her silent for so long because she believed he had powerful connections that could ruin her life and ensure that people would side with him if she ever came forward.
“Abuse thrives in silence,” she wrote, urging other survivors not to remain quiet about their experiences.
Her decision to speak publicly has generated widespread discussion online, with many people praising what they describe as her courage in sharing her story. Others have called for patience while allowing all parties an opportunity to respond.
