A person who says they was assaulted following a relationship dispute in Sandton, Johannesburg, has shared their experience publicly, claiming the incident left them with injuries, emotional trauma and partial hearing loss.
During an interview with a local publication, the individual alleged that the assault occurred after tensions arose in their personal relationships.
According to the interview, the person had been involved in more than one romantic relationship, and the situation allegedly escalated into violence after one of the partners discovered the other relationship.

Claims of Serious Injuries
The individual claimed they were attacked with dangerous objects during the alleged assault.
They further stated that they have since experienced hearing problems in their right ear, saying the injury has affected their daily life.
“I can no longer hear properly with my right ear,” the individual reportedly said during the interview.
At this stage, these claims have not been independently verified, and no official statement has been released by the alleged attacker.
Personal Life Exposed Online
In addition to the alleged physical assault, the individual claimed that private details about their personal life were shared on social media following the incident.
According to the interview, the online exposure resulted in both of their romantic relationships coming to an end, adding to the emotional impact of the situation.
The person described the experience as humiliating and emotionally overwhelming.
Publication Urges Medical Care and Police Report
Following the interview, the publication encouraged the alleged victim to seek medical treatment at the nearest hospital in Sandton to assess the reported hearing injury.
The publication also advised the individual to report the matter to the South African Police Service (SAPS) so that the allegations can be formally investigated.
If a criminal offence has been committed, a police investigation would help establish the facts and determine whether any charges should be laid.
Violence Is Never the Answer
Relationship disputes can be emotionally difficult, but experts consistently stress that disagreements should never escalate into violence.
Anyone who believes they have been assaulted is encouraged to seek immediate medical attention, preserve any available evidence and report the matter to the police.
Authorities can then investigate the incident and determine the appropriate legal course of action.
As of the time of publication, no arrests or official police statements relating to the alleged assault had been announced publicly.
