BREAKING: Passengers Allegedly Offered Uber Driver Sex Instead of R400 Fare
An Uber driver was reportedly left stunned after passengers allegedly offered secs as an alternative to paying a R400 fare at the end of their trip.
According to the driver, the passengers completed the journey before the unusual dispute allegedly began when it was time to settle the fare.
Instead of paying the reported R400 owed for the trip, the passengers allegedly made a secxual proposal to the driver, offering intimacy in exchange for the outstanding fare.
The driver reportedly rejected the offer and insisted that the passengers pay the agreed fare. The incident was captured by the vehicle’s dashboard camera, which recorded the interaction inside the car.
The footage could prove important for the driver, particularly if questions or allegations arise about what happened during the trip. A dashcam recording can provide an independent record of conversations and events, potentially helping to establish what was said and how the situation unfolded.
The incident has also highlighted some of the unusual situations ride-hailing drivers can encounter while working, particularly when disputes arise over payment.
It remains unclear whether the passengers eventually paid the R400 fare or whether the matter was reported to Uber or the police.
No independent confirmation of the passengers’ identities or the circumstances surrounding the incident was immediately available.
