Kgaugelo Marota Laid to Rest After Tragic Murder
The community gathered in mourning as 20-year-old Kgaugelo Marota from Portion 9, Hammanskraal, was laid to rest at Kanana Cemetery on Sunday, 31 August. Mourners expressed their outrage over her brutal killing, which has left friends, family, and the community reeling.
Royal Funerals provided a black executive fleet to transport mourners, reflecting the solemnity of the occasion and honoring Kgaugelo’s life in a dignified manner.
Kgaugelo was allegedly stabbed to death by her ex-lover, social media influencer Lazarus Antonio, also known as Mfana Ngwenya, from Carousel View. Authorities continue to investigate the tragic incident that has shaken Hammanskraal and beyond.
