The 16 year old caught up in a scandal with his 33yrs old adult teacher is now getting celebrity treatment at school.

33-year-old Zvikomborero Maria Makedenge, a teacher based in the US, is facing charges in Zimbabwe after allegedly coercing a 16-year-old student into an “amorous relationship” at her Glen View home.

The allegations claim she promised to take the minor to America to ensure his silence. The student’s sister reportedly informed their mother, leading to the case. Trial has begun at the Harare Magistrates’ Court following her successful bail application.
