A Ghanaian man living in the States has narrated a sad incident where a lady he planned to settle down with duped him of his ¢50k after he sent her the money to invest in her business.
He revealed he showed interest in the lady who is living in Ghana and she agreed to date him. Shortly after they began dating, he realised the lady’s business needed a push.
So he decided to invest in the business so that in the near future, they will both enjoy the benefits of it, including their unborn children.
He thought it will be more helpful and profitable if he should get people and the media to advertise the lady’s business for her so he discussed it with her.
He planned to take the cost of the shop in which they will sell the things and the lady said she will need about ¢20,000 for the advertisement after he asked her how much she thinks will be enough for that.
Thinking ¢20,000 is too small for that since he wanted the business to get huge recognition and authentic branding, he decided to increase the amount to ¢50,000.
Sadly, as soon he sent the money to the lady, she blocked him from further reaching her. In as much as the man is hurt because he trusted he could build a future with her, he has let everything go and is ready to work to make more money.
