Deu 17:1 Do not sacrifice to the LORD your God an ox or a sheep that has any defect or flaw in it, for that would be detestable to  him.

Do not give to God something you don’t consider of importance to you, don’t give ordinarily be it tithe or offering, cease to be that person who gives offering bcz you would rather not remain seated while others are giving, it is better to remain seated than give money of less value to you, if the money you are giving to God has no value to you the giver, it also has no value to God, don’t just give but give cheerfully.

Proper giving vs. improper giving

_Cain: Gen 4:3 In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the LORD_ .

_Abel: Gen 4:4 But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering,_

They both gave, but the other one knew that he was giving to God not a Man while the other was contrary, and in the sight of the Lord he received them differently. When you are giving to God let there be a difference that shows that he is God, not a mere man. Some prefer to feed themselves expensive food but giving (mari yema zepi) to God, choose to be different like abel, give whats precious to you.
