Comedian Learnmore Jonas Now Set For The Homecoming Show
UNITED States-based comedian, Learnmore Jonasi, is set for a special homecoming show when he takes part at the Shoko Festival 2024.
The festival has announced its second round of headliners for its highly-anticipated 14th edition, which includes popular rappers Voltz JT, Young Gemini and Kayflow
Still basking in the glory of his golden buzzer win on America’s Got Talent, Jonasi is part of the second act to headline the Shoko Comedy Night on September 26 at Harare Gardens.
Running from September 26 to 28, this year’s theme of the Shoko Festival is “Both Sides of Samora.”
Jonasi will be one of the star attractions.
“As a festival that has consistently supported Zimbabwean stand-up comedy over the years, we are humbled to have been a small part of the meteoric rise of Learnmore Jonasi and we are so happy to bring him back home for a massive homecoming show.
“As a festival that has given a platform to Zim-Hip Hop from day one, we are proud to see how much the industry has grown and can’t wait to have the likes of Voltz JT, Young Gemini and Kayflow rocking our stages,” says festival Director, Samm Farai Monro, who is also known as Comrade Fatso.
The festival offers a variety of events alongside music.
These include the Shoko Comedy Night, Mashup Night and the Peace in the Hood Concert.
The Hub Unconference precedes the festival with talks and workshops on digital media, technology and the creative economy.
Shoko Festival celebrates free expression, cutting-edge urban art and alternative youth culture.
