“This brother hates on almost everything, he doesn’t choose,” added @MindMusta.
@DeAnunaki8964 defended the youngster, saying:
“That’s not maths. This is a gift.”
Another user, @Puse_letsoooo, simply called Nota a “professional hater.”
According to Xolani Mbambo, he first discovered his son’s remarkable talent while helping Andile’s older brother with mathematics homework earlier this year.
To his surprise, the four-year-old repeatedly answered questions before anyone else could. Even more astonishing was how quickly Andile grasped new concepts and retained them after being shown only once.
While South Africans continue celebrating Andile’s rise from an ordinary preschooler to a household name, the country has also been mourning the heartbreaking loss of another young child of the same age.
Just days ago, a four-year-old boy from Vanderbijlpark tragically lost his life after a heavy steel table toppled over and struck him while he was playing in his family’s yard.
The devastating accident left the local community shattered, with neighbours, emergency workers and grief counsellors rallying around the family. Tributes poured in from across the country as South Africans once again reflected on how fragile life can be.
